History

The Christian Science Society of Southold was founded in the 1940s.

The Christian Scientists met at the Grange, Travelers Avenue, before constructing the church building on the Main Road and operating as the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Southold. Recently, the congregation returned to being a Society, while continuing to meet and hold services at the church building.

In 2024, this website was created (christiansciencenorthfork.org), as a public informational resource.
